Abstract:
This article presents some of our recent approaches to variational multiscale methods for turbulent flows. The residual-based variational mul- tiscale method using a dynamic subgrid-scale approximation is presented as well as the algebraic variational multiscale-multigrid method for large eddy simulation of turbulent flows.
