- Der Nutzen von Pankreasgang-Stents nach akzidenteller Pankreasgangsondierung während der ERCP wurde im Rahmen der PEPSI-Studie untersucht. Es wurden 57 Erst-ERCP Patienten prospektive in eine Gruppen mit (n=26), bzw. ohne (n=31) Pankreasgang-Stents randomisiert. Durch die passagere Einlage eines Pankreasgang-Stents konnte das PEP-Risiko um das 4-fache reduziert werden (OR=3,97; NNT=8; p=0,012). - Translated abstract:
- The benefit of pancreatic duct stenting after accidental cannulation of the pancreatic duct during an ERCP was analysed as part of the PEPSI-Study. 57 patients were randomized in a group with (n=26), respectively without (n=31) pancreatic duct stenting. The risk of post ERCP pancreatitis after pancreatic duct stenting could be reduced 4 times (OR=3.97; NNT=8; p=0.012). A comparative group (n=421) has shown that cannulation of the pancreatic duct is an independent risk factor of PEP (p=0.003).
