- Abstract:
- Mittels immunhistochemischer Färbungen wurde die Expression des Toll-like Rezeptor 7 (TLR7) in einer Auswahl der häufigsten Hauterkrankungen untersucht. Ein Vergleich der Expression von TLR7 in malignen epithelialen Tumoren zeigte, dass die Expression mit einem höheren Grad der Differenzierung assoziiert ist. Auch konnten wir mittels Vergleich von Gewebsproben vor und nach einer topischen Applikation von Imiquimod zeigen, dass die Applikation zu einem Anstieg der TLR7-Expression führt.

- Using immunohistochemical staining, the expression of Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) was investigated in a selection of the most common skin diseases. Comparison of expression of TLR7 in malignant epithelial tumors revealed that expression is associated with a higher degree of differentiation. Also, by comparing tissue samples before and after a topical application of imiquimod, we were able to show that the application leads to an increase in TLR7 expression.
