- Diese prospektiv randomisierte Studie beschreibt einen Vergleich der konventionellen perkutan-transhepatischen Cholangiodilatation mit einem neuen System, bestehend aus speziell hergestellten Materialien in Form von festeren Bougies und einem versteifbaren Führungsdraht. Die neue Metode zeigte dabei signifikante Vorteile im Hinblick auf Zeit und Kosten bei Wahrung der klinischen Effizienz.

- This prospective, randomised trial describes the comparison between the conventional percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage and a new method of rapid dilatation using a stiffenable guidewire and specially adapted bougies. The new system offers significant advantages in terms of saving time and hospital resources while maintaining clinical efficacy.
