- Bei herzchirurgischen Eingriffen wurde der Effekt von Faktor XIII auf die Blutgerinnung mit dem roTEG, einem neu entwickelten thrombelastographischen Analyseverfahren, online erfasst. Postoperativ bestand im Vergleich zu den Ausgangswerten eine signifikante Abnahme der Gerinnselfestigkeit. Diese konnte durch die in vitro Zugabe von Faktor XIII durchschnittlich um 57 % angehoben werden. - Translated abstract:
- With cardiac surgery the effect of factor XIII on the coagulation was online registered with roTEG, a new developed thrombelastographic method for analysis. Postoperatively a significant reduction of the clot stability existed compared with the initial value. This could be raised by in vitro addition by factor XIII on the average around 57 %. With the described method it is already possible to document potential indications for factor XIII substitution in the operating room.
