Virtual Fluids- An environment for integral visualisation and analysis of CAD and simulation data
Abstract:
In this paper we present the recently developed application VirtualFluids for exploring three-dimensional flowfields generated by a numerical CFD simulation together with a CAD-model of a building. Our objective is to extract a detailed understanding of ow structures from the simulation data, and hence an optimization of the iterative process of communication between architects and engineers during the planning of a building.
